Dr. Mike Garrison is a board-certified family medicine physician with a passion for preventive and lifestyle medicine. He earned his doctorate in osteopathic medicine at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at MUSC Health at Tidelands in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Growing up, Dr. Garrison was active in sports and focused on health and fitness. During his time playing football in high school and college, he suffered injuries that required medical attention. Experiencing a high level of care first-hand prompted Dr. Garrison to apply to medical school so he, in turn, could help others. Dr. Garrison’s approach is prevention first, and he strives to build long-term relationships with his patients, guiding them to live to their fullest potential.
